Set against the stunning backdrop of Wilmington, New Hanover, this event has been voted the Best Half Marathon in North Carolina by Race Raves for 2024, making it a must-attend for runners of all levels. Participants can choose from four exciting race options: the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, or the thrilling Challenge, which combines the 5K and Half Marathon for a total of 16.2 miles.
All three courses offer breathtaking views as runners traverse a completely closed route through historic downtown Wilmington, including a run over all three downtown bridges and along the nation’s top-rated Riverwalk. The excitement doesn’t end at the finish line, where you’ll be greeted with a fantastic finish line party at Riverfront Park featuring music, complimentary beer from Wrightsville Beach Brewery, and delicious food. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a newcomer, join us for a day of fun, camaraderie, and achievement as we celebrate health and fitness in this beautiful coastal city!

2. CHOOSE FROM 4 DIFFERENT RACES- HALF MARATHON, 10K, 5K OR THE CHALLENGE. THE CHALLENGE CONSISTS OF THE 5K FOLLOWED BY THE HALF MARATHON. WE ARE THE ONLY RACE IN WILMINGTON TO OFFER THIS.
3. ALL 3 COURSES TAKE RUNNERS THROUGH SOME AMAZING VIEWS IN A COMPLETELY CLOSED COURSE THROUGH HISTORIC DOWNTOWN WILMINGTON.
