Get ready for an unforgettable day of racing at the Wilmington Historic Half, 10K & 5K on Saturday, December 6, 2025! This vibrant event takes place in the charming city of Wilmington, New Hanover, and offers participants an exciting opportunity to run through the scenic historic downtown area. Voted the 2024 Best Half Marathon in North Carolina by Race Raves, this event features four unique race options: the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and the thrilling Challenge that combines both the 5K and Half Marathon for a total of 16.2 miles.
Each race takes runners along a completely closed course, showcasing stunning views and iconic landmarks, including three downtown bridges and over a mile along the nation’s top-rated Riverwalk for the Half Marathon and 10K. The festivities culminate with an awesome finish line party at Riverfront Park, complete with live music, complimentary craft beer from local breweries, and mouth-watering BBQ. With race times kicking off at 7:00 AM for the 5K and 7:45 AM for both the 10K and Half Marathon, participants are in for a day filled with excitement, camaraderie, and celebration. Don’t miss out
