This exciting event, hosted at the beautiful Big Rivers Waterpark, features a variety of race distances to accommodate participants of all ages and abilities, including a 10K Dash, a 5K Dash, a fun Kids Dash for ages 10 and under, and virtual runs for those who want to join from afar.
Not only will you enjoy a scenic course that winds through the waterpark and around a picturesque lake, but every step you take will also support the TANGO2 Research Foundation, a cause close to the hearts of the Galland family. Participants can look forward to a vibrant atmosphere filled with music, pre-race warm-ups, and plenty of post-race celebrations, including snacks and refreshments. Plus, all participants will receive a custom race shirt, finisher medal, and the chance to win awards. Join us Saturday, September 20, 2025 for the Big Rivers Splash & Dash, where every step you take supports critical research and awareness for TANGO2 a rare genetic disorder thats personally impacted the Galland family, owners of Big Rivers.

The TANGO2 RESEARCH FOUNDATION was a lifeline for Megan Galland, who faced her first health crisis at just six months old during a family trip. Initially misdiagnosed, Megan eventually received answers thanks to the tireless work of the TANGO2 FOUNDATION. Now, we're running to give that same hope to other families.
