Join us for the exhilarating 2nd Annual Big Rivers Splash & Dash on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, in the beautiful setting of New Caney, Montgomery! This exciting event at the BIG RIVERS WATERPARK promises a day filled with fun, fitness, and philanthropy, all while supporting the TANGO2 RESEARCH FOUNDATION. Participants can choose from various race distances, including a thrilling Aquathlon (500m swim followed by a 5K run), a 10K Dash, a 5K Dash, and a Kids Dash for those aged 10 and under. For those who prefer to run from afar, virtual options are also available!
The scenic course meanders through the waterpark and around a picturesque lake, making it a unique experience for every runner. Not only will you enjoy a fantastic day of racing, but you’ll also receive a custom race shirt, an interactive finisher medal, and exclusive access to special event swag. Plus, all participants get early entry to the waterpark on race day! Join us Saturday, June 13th 2026 for the Big Rivers Splash & Dash, where every step you take supports critical research and awareness for TANGO2 a rare genetic disorder thats personally impacted the Galland family, owners of Big Rivers.

Why We Run:
The TANGO2 RESEARCH FOUNDATION was a lifeline for Megan Galland, who faced her first health crisis at just six months old during a family trip. Initially misdiagnosed, Megan eventually received answers thanks to the tireless work of the TANGO2 FOUNDATION. Now, we're running to give that same hope to other families.
