CALLING ALL HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES AND YOUTH COACHES!
Don't wait until the summer is over and competition is about to begin!! Set yourself up for success and kickstart your summer training using the skills and insight that sustained the 12-year professional running career of a 3-time Olympian and former 3-time American Record holder.
ABOUT THE BISHOP O'DOWD WITH IMAGINING MORE FOUNDATION RUNNING CAMP:Spanning 2 days (Saturday, July 20, 2024 & Sunday, July 21, 2024), the Bishop O'Dowd / Imagining More Foundation Running Camp offers Bay Area High School athletes (12-17 years of age) and coaches the opportunity to interact with Olympians, world-class athletes and coaches to achieve the following camp goals:
Learn effective warmup, workout, recovery and strength training skills and how to fuel for success.Identify how to recognize & address physical weaknesses to avoid injury.Develop essential skills to improve physical, mental, emotional and social health.Understand how to leverage your unique talents to open collegiate doors and potential scholarship opportunities.Recognize how participating in sport and developing an Olympic mindset can enhance your school experience and lead to higher levels of academic and career success.Discover the joy, sense of accomplishment, empowerment and lifelong friendships that the running community has to offer.
