Join us for the uplifting 7th Annual Blessing of the Bikes and Runners on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge! This inspiring event begins at St. Joseph Cathedral, where participants gather at 9:00 AM for a heartfelt blessing of bikes and running shoes, setting the tone for a safe and successful training season. Cyclists can participate in two ride options, with the fast riders departing at 8:00 AM and slower riders rolling out at 7:30 AM from the L'Auberge Casino Overflow parking lot. In a beautiful tribute, we will honor our fallen heroes from Louisiana, and all participants are encouraged to wear blue, red, or white to represent law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.
Whether you're a cyclist or a runner, this event fosters camaraderie and community spirit. Runners will gather downtown (location to be announced), while cyclists have the option to meet at Past Time Restaurant for the final mile to the church. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with fellow athletes and celebrate the joys of biking and running in a supportive atmosphere. ***If you want to cycle to the church parking lot, please meet at the L'Auberge Casino Overflow parking lot at
7:45am to roll out at 8:00am.*** for the faster riders

Meet at 7:15 am to leave at 7:30 am from the casino if you are wanting a slower ride to the church.
