This uplifting event celebrates not only the passion of cycling and running but also honors our fallen heroes. The bicycle ride kicks off at 8:00 AM for fast riders, with a 7:30 AM start for those looking for a more leisurely pace. Participants can gather at St. Joseph Cathedral, located at 401 Main Street, by 9:00 AM for a special blessing of bikes and running shoes by Father Cary Bani, ensuring a safe and successful training season ahead.
Cyclists can meet at the L'Auberge Casino Overflow parking lot at 7:45 AM, while those preferring a slower ride should arrive by 7:15 AM to leave at 7:30 AM. Runners will gather downtown (location to be announced). This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community, wear blue to honor law enforcement, red for firefighters, or white for emergency medical personnel, and enjoy a day filled with camaraderie, friendship, and a shared love for cycling and running safety.
