Join us for the 3rd Annual Bleu's Run for Rescue 5K on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in beautiful Washingtonville, Orange County! This exciting event, starting at 10 AM with check-in at 9 AM, invites both runners and walkers to participate in a fun-filled 3.1-mile course at L Vern Allen Park. Bring your leashed, friendly dogs along for the adventure—just make sure they are rabies vaccinated and leave those retractable leashes at home!
Pre-registration is only $40, and the first 25 registrants will receive a FREE race t-shirt, with day-of registration available for $45. Enjoy tasty treats from the Shaker Smoothie food truck, serving delicious smoothies and gluten-free pizza. Plus, learn more about local pet care from Otterkill Animal Hospital. All proceeds from this fantastic event will benefit Bleu's K9 Rescue and help support homeless dogs in the Hudson Valley. Bleu's K9 Rescue is hosting our 3rd annual Run/Walk for Rescue 5k!
Best part: You're welcome to bring your friendly, leashed dogs to walk/run with.
All participating dogs are to be Rabies vaccinated.
NO retractable leashes please!
Bring your poop bags.
When: Sunday, May 31st, 10am start, 9am check-in
Where: L Vern Allen Park, Washingtonville NY 10992
What: 5K = 3.1 miles. Route will be guided by the local PD.
Pre-Registration is $40 per runner. Day of Registration is $45.
