Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Blueberry Fun Run, taking place on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, in the beautiful town of Ketchikan, located in the Ketchikan Gateway Borough. This vibrant event celebrates the joy of running and the delicious blueberry season, featuring a variety of race distances to suit everyone’s ability—choose between the exciting 1-mile fun run, the invigorating 5K, or the more challenging 10K.
The race will kick off at the iconic start line on Grant Street, right by the Ketchikan Police Department. Participants who register early will not only enjoy the thrill of the race but also secure their preferred sizes for giveaways, as quantities are limited and guaranteed only for those who register by July 14th. Plus, all members of the Ketchikan Running Club will benefit from a $5 discount on registration! BIB and shirt pick-up will be available on August 1st at the Rec Center, with last-minute pick-up on race morning. If running isn't your thing this year, consider volunteering to be part of the fun! Join us for a day filled with community spirit, healthy competition, and, of course, blueberries!

Blueberry season is here and Ketchikan Running Club is pleased to host the Blueberry Fun Run races which include a 1 mile fun run, 5k, and 10k. The 2025 race continues with the authentic start line on Grant Street, by Ketchikan Police Department.

Please understand that we are required to order well in advance for customization and shipping time. We do our best to accommodate everyone and hope you will consider registering early to secure your size!
REGISTER ONLINE THROUGH WEDNESDAY JULY 30. BIB & SHIRT PICK UP, AS WELL AS IN-PERSON REGISTRATION, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY AUGUST 1, FROM 4:30-7:30PM AT THE REC CENTER. CLOSEDThe 5K and 10K routes begin on Grant St, following Schoenbar Trail to Schoenbar Ave, heading around City Park to Deermont Street all the way down to Tongass Ave. 5K racers will turn around just past the USCG station and 10K racers will turn around at Three Bears convenience store. Coming back into town, racers will cross again at Deermont and Tongass heading into town across the Stedman Street Bridge, around Whale Park, staying on the outskirts of the Blueberry Festival streets until turning right onto Grant St and finishing at the Ketchikan Police Department. -
