The human runners start at 9 AM, followed closely by the zombie runners at 9:01 AM.
Participants can take part in a 5K Fun Run, with awards for the top three male and female finishers in both the human and zombie categories. Additionally, there will be a contest for the deadliest zombie and the scariest costume, adding to the festive atmosphere. Children 12 and under are invited to join the fun with a special candy fun run following the main event. Race packets can be conveniently picked up at Belton New Tech High School the day before the event. Organiser's Description
Run or walk as a human or chase the humans as a zombie! Race will begin at 9 am at Liberty Park in Belton. Human runners will start at 9 am and Zombie runners will start at 9:01 Am.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female zombie and top three male and female human finishers as well as the deadliest zombie and the scariest costume contest.
registrations runs through 8:45 AM the morning of the race. T-shirts are guaranteed for all registrations received by October 9th, 2026. Children 12 and under can sign up for a candy fun run following the 5K Fun Run.
