Get ready for an exhilarating day of fun and fitness at the Boca Raton YMCA Youth Triathlon on Sunday, November 15, 2026! Taking place at the vibrant Peter Blum Family YMCA in Boca Raton, Palm Beach, this exciting event is perfect for young athletes aged 5 to 17. The triathlon kicks off bright and early at 7:15 AM, so participants need to arrive by 6:30 AM to prepare for an unforgettable experience.
With age-specific race distances designed to challenge and inspire, the triathlon features swimming, biking, and running events tailored for every age group. Young competitors will tackle distances ranging from a 50-yard swim and 1-mile bike ride for the youngest participants to a 150-yard swim and 4-mile bike for teens. Additionally, this year introduces an Adaptive Splash & Dash Wave for athletes ages 5-17, emphasizing participation and fun over competition, with distances accommodating all abilities. Each finisher will receive a special medal to celebrate their achievement. Join us for a day of camaraderie, athleticism, and community spirit at the Boca Raton YMCA Youth Triathlon!

Organiser's Description
Join us for the YMCA's Youth Triathlon on Sunday, Nov 15 at the Peter Blum Family YMCA. The Triathlon starts at 7.15am and all participants need to be there by 6.30am.
Age Group Distances:
5-7 yrs - 50 yard swim, 1 mile bike, 0.5 mile run
8-9yrs -100 yard swim, 2 mile bike, 1 mile run
10-11yrs -100 yard swim, 2 mile bike, 1 mile run
12-13yrs -150 yard swim, 4 mile bike, 1 mile run
14-17yrs -150 yard swim, 4 mile bike, 1 mile run
*This will be based on the age of the kids on 12/31/2026
The race will timed through chip timing. Only the total time will be given.
This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. This means that all participants will need to purchase an annual USAT membership at the cost of $10, if they do not already have one. This will be paid during the registration process.

ADAPTIVE SPLASH & DASH WAVE
We are excited to introduce an Adaptive Splash & Dash Wave for athletes ages 517!
This fun, non-competitive wave is designed to provide a welcoming and supportive race experience for adaptive athletes. Participants can choose from the following distances:
Swim: 50 yards or 100 yards
Run: 1/2 mile or 1 mile
This wave is not timedit's all about participation, confidence, and having fun! Every athlete who crosses the finish line will receive a special Splash & Dash finisher medal to celebrate their achievement.
Each athlete is required to have a race buddy accompany them throughout the event. Race buddies do not need to register for the race.
The Adaptive Splash & Dash Wave will begin approximately 5 minutes after the final athlete from the standard waves has exited the pool deck (around 8:00 a.m.).
We can't wait to celebrate our adaptive athletes and cheer them on to the finish line!
