The Boise Half Marathon, organized by the Boise RunWalk, is set to take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, in Boise, Ada. Participants can look forward to a fun and scenic race experience along the Boise Greenbelt system. Runners will receive a race shirt and medal as part of their registration. Please note that the event is subject to change in case the Boise Broncos have a game scheduled on the same day, in which case an alternative celebration location will be arranged. Despite potential challenges like wildlife encounters or Greenbelt construction, participants are encouraged to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and uplifting atmosphere of this exciting event.

UPDATE: MAY 21, 2024 - We have been given "tentative" permission to proceed with a disclaimer that if the Broncos make a run, they may need the Stadium on this day. In that case we will celebrate somewhere else (Payette Brewing most likely) and get everyone home in time for kickoff.
All runners will receive a race shirt and race medal.
THIS - Please note courses utilize the Boise Greenbelt system. Should we run the Greenbelt, the river can be unpredictable. Systems and entities that govern the local Greenbelt are constantly dealing with these challenges. Typical issues are created due to sidewalk construction, sinkholes, flooding, etc. During the run, you may encounter wildlife that may cause a delay in your progress and/or change in your planned route. Or you may cause your own delay to stop and listen to the amazing sounds this course creates.
