Monroeville Main Street is excited to host our 3rd Annual BOOK IT 5K Run/Walk on May 10, 2025, in Alabamas Literary Capital. The BOOK IT race will include a special costume contest(optional) for the best Literary Character costume (extra points if the character is from a Monroe County or Alabama authors work). Participants will compete for unique awards and everyone is invited to stay for games, art, music, and storytelling at our SECOND SATURDAY ON THE SQUARE event.
