Event summary
Get ready to honor our heroes at the 4th Annual BOSS Services' 9/11 Hero Climb, taking place on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, in St. Joseph, Berrien County. This heartfelt event begins at 8:46 AM, the exact moment the first plane struck the World Trade Center 23 years ago, at St. Joseph High School's Dickinson Stadium. Participants will challenge themselves to climb 2,071 stadium steps, symbolizing the 110 floors of the Twin Towers, alongside local emergency responders, community members, and supporters.
If climbing isnโt your style, you can still participate by running or walking in the 5K event, or opt for the 1-mile non-timed walk around the track. This inclusive gathering encourages people of all abilities, including wheelchair users and families with strollers, to join in and pay tribute to those who bravely served and sacrificed. Best of all, 100% of the proceeds will directly benefit Berrien County fire and public safety departments, ensuring they receive much-needed gear and support. Join us as we come together to remember, honor, and uplift our community on this significant day!
