BOYNE CITY INDEPENDENCE DAY RUN - ON THE SCENIC SHORES OF LAKE CHARLEVOIX. A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THIS YEARS RACE! THE 10K RUN EVENT IS BEING REPLACED WITH A 5 MILE RUN EVENT! THERE ARE MANY REASONS FOR THIS CHANGE WITH IMPROVEMENTS IN COURSE AND TIME MANAGEMENT. A SHORTER RUN = MORE TIME TO PREPARE FOR THE PARADE!
Come for the race, stay for the parade and a day filled with family fun, music, activities, games and cap off your evening with an amazing Fireworks Show as part of the BOYNE CITY 4TH OF JULY FESTIVAL!

In order to keep this fundraiser event for the Boyne City Fireworks affordable for families, the decision was made to exclude these items for 2025. We hope for the return of finisher medals and age group awards in 2026._
