GENERAL INFORMATION
RACE DATE: Sunday, September 10, 2023
START TIMES: Half Marathon- 8 AM, 10K- 8:15 AM
COURSE TIME LIMIT: You have 4 hours to complete the half marathon event. The course officially closes at 12 PM.
HALF MARATHON & 10K BUS SHUTTLES: All registered runners for the half marathon and 10K events are required to take the bus shuttle to the start line. There is no available parking at any start lines. Bus shuttles pick up on Main Street in downtown Bozeman.
AID STATIONS: Aid is placed every 3-4 miles with water, electrolyte drink, and GU gel. This is a reduced cup event, which means cups are subject to running out. We encourage you to purchase a reusable race cup at checkout if you do not already have your own cup or do not plan to carry your own bottle or reservoir.
REFUND POLICY: Refunds are not offered for this event. Deferrals are taken on a case by case basis and are not guaranteed. If events are forced to shut down by requirements issued by the Gallatin County Health Department or State of Montana, or weather-related events such as wildfires, no refunds will be offered. By registering for the Bozeman Half Marathon or 10K, you hereby acknowledge this financial risk.
FIRE/SMOKE POLICY: We will follow the Montana Department of Environmental Quality measurements to make decisions regarding race day. While Montana does have a fire season, Bozeman is usually fortunate in that air quality is usually not compromised thanks to our higher elevation and distance from active fires. However, if air quality reaches an unhealthy level, race officials reserve the right to cancel the event. In previous years, we have not had to cancel the race.
DID YOU KNOW?: This race benefits the Bozeman Distance Project, a 501(c)(3) supporting local youth XC and track clubs and teams! A portion of your registration and/or your total donation will go directly towards supporting local teams financially through uniforms, competitions, camps, and travel expenses.
