This uplifting event, hosted at the RPAC North Plaza near The Buckeye Bike Hub, invites participants of all ages to raise awareness and support for brain injury survivors. Whether you choose to challenge yourself with the 5K run or enjoy a leisurely stroll during the 1 Mile Walk, your involvement will make a tremendous impact.
All proceeds from this event directly benefit brain injury survivors through initiatives like the NeuroNights program, which offers essential wellness support. Last year's event saw incredible contributions, including scholarships and funding for community programs, and this year promises to be even more impactful. This event is hosted by the undergraduate student organization Buckeyes Raising Awareness in Neuroscience (BRAIN). This event takes place at the RPAC North Plaza, near The Buckeye Bike Hub (337 Annie and John Glenn Ave [https://www.google.com/maps/place/The+Buckeye+Bike+Hub/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x8541485ff248b9e7?sa=X&ved=1t:2428&ictx=111]). All proceeds directly benefit brain injury survivors, including through our NeuroNights program [https://cbi.osu.edu/community/neuronights], a joint initiative between The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, The Ohio State University Chronic Brain Injury program, and BRAIN to provide comprehensive communal and wellness support for brain injury survivors. * We awarded a $500 scholarship to Jackie Palmer, recipient of the Mark Minister Award and donated $500 on her behalf to the Healthy Minds program at the Brain Injury Association of Ohio

* We are planning a Brain Injury Awareness Gala for the winter and a Brain Injury Awareness Retreat!
