This vibrant spring cycling event invites cyclists of all levels to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Talbot, Queen Anne's, and Caroline Counties, renowned as one of the top cycling destinations in the U.S. Riders can choose from three exhilarating distances: a challenging 100 miles, a scenic 65.4 miles, or a fun 37.7 miles, with staggered start times beginning at 7:00 AM.
Participants will enjoy well-marked routes featuring rest stops stocked with refreshments, including a special ice cream pit stop at the Scottish Highland Creamery. Each rider receives a commemorative Camelbak Podium Bike Water Bottle, along with tickets for a free ice cream scoop, lunch tacos, and a ferry crossing. With SAG support along the way and a lively finish line celebration featuring food trucks and local brews, the C3 Tri-County Ice Cream Classic promises a fantastic day of cycling and community spirit. WELCOME TO CHESAPEAKE CYCLING CLUB'S TRI-COUNTY CLASSIC spring cycling event, that will take you on a tour of Talbot, Queen Anne's, and Caroline Counties, in the heart of Maryland's Eastern Shore, considered one of the top cycling destinations in America, with a crazy quilt of fields, small towns, coves, and sinuous tributary rivers.
CHECKIN DETAILS: So we will have checkin from 6:30am to 10am. We have each group as a suggested start time 7:00am 100 mile route, 7:30am 65 mile route, 8:00am and for the 37 mile route this is so you can ride with the group doing your route and based on rest stop times. It is a checkin with a show up and go so no big line up but no checkins after 10am. You need to keep in mind that the Oxford ferry and Scottish Highland Creamery opens at 9am which is 50 miles out for the 65 and 100 mile group with 14 miles for the 37 mile group. You know your speed so you decide what time works for you within the range we have provided.
Course Markings we will have arrows for routes on the road and yard signs, we will have signs for rest stops, Ice cream pit stop etc. Please print your own cue sheet. (routes updated)

SAG support: Call 410-463-6194. This is not bike maintenance or medical this is for those that need to be picked up and support on the route. We will also do a sweep starting at Noon for all routes to make sure everyone is doing okay.
TICKETS: You will be given three tickets at checkin one for a free ice scoop from Scottish Highland creamery, one for the free ferry crossing, one for your lunch tacos.
