In addition to the 10K, there's a 1-mile race perfect for all ages and fitness levels. All participants will receive a finisher's medal, and there are exciting cash prizes and awards for the top finishers in various categories, including overall winners and age group champions. Organiser's Description

The 10K course begins on Johnston Street in Downtown Lafayette and passes the University of Louisiana Lafayette, Cajun Field, and back to a Downtown Lafayette finish on Jefferson Street.



Run or walk your way through historic views of Lafayette at this fan-favorite race!



Cajun Cup 10K and 1-mile race is a fundraiser supporting the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Cross Country and Track teams.



All 10K and 1 Mile Runners will receive a finisher's medal upon completion of the race.



No refunds for this event will be given.



REGISTRATION FEES:
$45 through June 17
$50 June 18 through August 19
$55 August 20 through November 7

$60 at Packet Pickup - _NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION_

For the 10K race, an additional $10** will be discounted for Cajun Road Runners Club members (**NOT VALID FOR VIRTUAL OPTION**)

Registration Fee for the 1 Mile - $15



ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH AT 6 PM FOR TIMING PURPOSES. REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE AT PACKET PICKUP. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.



_**THE COURSE WILL CLOSE AFTER APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS. RACE OFFICIALS MAY ASK YOU TO MOVE TO THE SIDEWALK IF YOU NEED MORE TIME TO FINISH._



AGE GROUPS:
9 and under, 5-year increments, 70+ (we will add additional age groups in 5-year breaks if needed)

10K RUN AWARDS:
Top THREE
Overall Male and Female, Overall Male and Female Masters(40+), Grand Masters(50+), and Senior Grand Masters(60+) winners will receive a specially designed Cajun Cup Award and a CASH PRIZE!
Age group winners receive a specially designed Cajun Cup Award with second and third place to receive Cajun Cup Medals.
