This single-elimination event is designed for teams of all kinds, so gather your friends, family, and even that neighbor you rarely talk to—just ensure at least two team members are female for a chance at bonus points!
With a limit of 50 teams, you'll want to secure your spot early for a chance at glory and festive fun. The event features free hot cocoa and holiday treats at the finish line, making it the perfect way to celebrate the season. Check-in begins at 2:00 PM with a course preview lap at 2:45 PM, leading up to the relays starting at 3:00 PM. A fun, fast-paced community relay race happening on Saturday, December 6 in Downtown Campbellsville before the annual Campbellsville Christmas Parade!
Challenge your endurance, pacing, and teamwork in this thrilling, single-elimination bracket of a race. If you enjoy _movement_, FESTIVE CHEER, and value community as much as a personal record, this event is for YOU.
EVENT FORMAT
LIMITED TO 50 TEAMS!
Teams of 4 will compete in heats along a closed course (_400m per person, 4x400 style_).
Every person takes on a 400m leg, handing the LIFE-SIZED CANDY CANE BATON off to their teammate.
Your team advances to the next round by placing in the Top 3 in your heat, which means flawless teamwork is the real key to victory!
Teams advance bracket-style until one team is crowned champion!
FREE hot cocoa and holiday treats at the finish line!
WHO CAN BE ON MY TEAM?
We're glad you asked. Your mom, your goofy uncle, your unathletic cousin, your favorite neighbor, your non-favorite neighbor, your coach, your teacher: BRING THEM ALL!
ONLY REQUIREMENT: EACH TEAM MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 FEMALE PARTICIPANTS.
Bonus points for all female teams! (_not really, but we saw this energy at Banana Relays and we LOVED IT!_)
