Get ready for a sugar rush at the Candy Race 5k in Plain City, Union, on Saturday, July 25, 2026! This delightful event promises an unforgettable day filled with fun and fitness at the scenic Glacier Ridge Metro Park in Central Ohio. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-time participant, the Candy Race welcomes everyone to join in the celebration of health and happiness.
Participants will enjoy a vibrant atmosphere as they run or walk the 5k course, and don’t forget to bring your biggest smile for the complimentary race photos! Each participant, both in-person and virtual, will receive a colorful, fun t-shirt, a large custom medal, a personalized bib number, and, of course, candy! Awards will be presented for the top finishers, including overall male and female winners and age group champions. The Jelly Tot Dash kicks off at 7:55 am, followed by the 5k run/walk at 8:00 am. Make your summer sweet and join us for this deliciously fun experience!

Join us for another year of the sweetest, most deliciously fun 5k around. Whether you are a first time participant or you have joined us before, you'll love the fun environment welcoming environment of Glacier Ridge Metro Park in Central Ohio! When you finish, don't be bashful to raise your arms and celebrate your accomplishment and collect a beautiful medal (oh and candy)! Make sure you smile for our photographer so you and your friends/family can enjoy your beautiful (and free) race photo for years to come!
