Participants can choose from four exhilarating ride options: the challenging Century (100 miles), the ambitious Half Century (50 miles), the fun Quarter Century (25 miles), and the family-friendly 7-Mile Fun Ride.
Join the 2-Day Challenge for an incredible weekend spent on the scenic Virginia Capital Trail, or opt for the flexible Virtual option and ride at your own pace throughout the entire month of May. With an OPEN-START FORMAT, riders can begin and finish whenever they choose along the trail. Enjoy vibrant Party Zones at Dorey Park on Friday and Chickahominy Riverfront Park on Saturday, complete with five Rest Stops to keep you energized. All participants will receive a Cap2Cap T-shirt, lunch, a beverage ticket, and other exciting swag. Cap2Cap is the annual bike ride and fundraiser event for the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation [https://www.virginiacapitaltrail.org/]. It's a celebration of cycling and community on the Virginia Capital Trail (VCT)! The ride features four distance options: CENTURY (100 MILES), HALF CENTURY (50 MILES), QUARTER CENTURY (25 MILES), and 7-MILE FAMILY FUN RIDE. Riders can also opt in for a 2-DAY CHALLENGE and spend the whole weekend with us out on the Trail. Can't make the ride in person? We've got a VIRTUAL option that allows you to ride any day during the entire month of May!

Virtual participants will be sent event merchandise (t-shirt, bottle, bag, and any registration purchases) in early June (shipping costs are included in the registration fee). ***This option is only for those who cannot attend the event in-person on 5/8 or 5/9.*** Therefore, the Virtual Cap2Cap does not include the Party Zones, Rest Stops, course support, lunch, beverage, or a bib.
