Get ready for an exciting and challenging race at the Frigid 8 and Thermal 3 event organized by Chippewa Falls in Chippewa on Saturday, December 7th, 2024. Participants can choose between the 8-mile or 3-mile race distances, with online registration available exclusively. All registrants will receive a Long sleeve Technical running shirt as part of their swag. The race will start at 10:00 A.M. and will be chip-timed, with the overall winner of the 8-mile race taking home a $200 cash purse. Special awards will be given to the top male and female finishers, as well as age group winners. After the race, an awards ceremony will be held, followed by food and beverages for all participants. START TIME: 10:00A.M.
AWARDS: The race will be chip-timed. The overall winner of the 8 mile race will will receive 200.00 cash purse. The top male and female , receive special awards. The top men's and women's age group finishers receive special Christmas ornaments.
AGE DIVISIONS: 9 & under 10-13 14-17 18-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-69 70+
AWARDS CEREMONY. Awards ceremony will follow the race finish.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES: There will be one water stop on the course at the usual corner. Water will be available at the finish line.
