Join the CAPE GIRARDEAU ROAD RUNNERS for our FIFTH annual fast and flat USATF CERTIFIED 1-MILE RACE! If you've been curious about running, a one-mile race is a great place to start! BRING THE FAMILY and begin your adventure into running. SEASONED RUNNER? You will love this fast and flat course to find out how fast you can run a 1-mile road race AND the opportunity to set a new Missouri State Record! Register TODAY to be assured your best Wave start!
The entire race will be held within Shawnee Park. Visit with vendors indoors during packet pickup, and enjoy warm drinks after your race. Event will be timed and runners will start in waves, based on estimated finish time. Awards presented to Overall Male & Female, and 1st - 3rd place in 10 year age groups.
No pets, except service animals, may participate in this event.
When registering a child 14 and under, the special pricing will be displayed when you are at the checkout.
SHIRTS- In an effort to keep our registration price low, shirts are an optional add-on during registration. You must register by Feb 8 to order a shirt; there will be NO post-race orders. Only shirts ordered by Feb 8 will be available.

CANCELLATION POLICY THE SAFETY OF OUR PARTICIPANTS IS OUR HIGHEST PRIORITY. RACES WILL BE HELD RAIN, SNOW, OR SHINE AND WILL NOT BE CANCELLED EXCEPT FOR CASES OF SEVERE WEATHER OR UNSAFE ROAD/TRAIL CONDITIONS. LESS THREATENING CONDITIONS MAY CAUSE ALTERATIONS OF THE COURSE OR POST EVENT ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE PARTICIPANT, VOLUNTEER, AND COMMUNITY SAFETY. WE ARE A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION AND ALL NET PROCEEDS ARE USED TO FURTHER THE CAPE GIRARDEAU ROAD RUNNER'S MISSION IN THE COMMUNITY. AS SUCH, NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS WILL BE GIVEN IN THE CASE OF CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER. SHIRTS ORDERED WILL STILL BE DISTRIBUTED.
