This exciting event kicks off with a fun run/walk at 9 AM, offering participants a flat and fast out-and-back course along the scenic bike path. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a leisurely stroll, this 5k is the perfect way to get moving while supporting a great cause.
Before the race, don’t miss the delicious bake sale running from 8 AM to 10 AM, where you can indulge in sweet treats and support local youth organizations. All proceeds from the event go directly to programs that benefit children and families in the area, including Feeding South Dakota and the Sioux Falls Humane Society. So, lace up your running shoes, bring your family and friends, and make a difference in the community while enjoying a fun-filled day!

The South Sioux Falls Kiwanis Club presents its annual Carbs for Kids 5k & Bake Sale to support kids and youth in our community.
Come get your steps in with this fun run/walk and follow it up with a bake sale or just stop our for some sweet treats without running!
Race Details:
* What: 5k & free-will donation bake sale
* When: Saturday, April 12th, 2025
* Race Start: 9 am
* Bake Sale: 8 am - 10 am
* Where: Cherry Rock Park, Sioux Falls, SD 57103
Details:
* Packet pick-up will be Friday, April 11th, and the morning of April 12th.
* The course is a flat and fast out-and-back along the bike path beginning and ending at Cherry Rock Park
* 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be awarded for the following categories:
* Men age <39
* Men age >40
* Women age <39
* Women age >40
ABOUT KIWANIS:
Kiwanis is a community of members and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children in Sioux Falls. Each child has different needs, and Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children, such as fighting hunger, improving literacy and offering guidance.
