Get ready for an exciting day of fitness and community spirit at the inaugural Carrboro 5K/10K on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, in beautiful Chapel Hill, Orange. This vibrant event features two fantastic race distances: the 10K, a challenging 6.2 miles, and the newly introduced 5K, a fun 3.1-mile course. Both races kick off at 8 a.m. from McDougle Middle School, winding through the scenic neighborhoods of Carrboro and culminating on the McDougle track.
Whether you choose the 5K or the 10K, your participation will support local charities through the Le Tour de Carrboro, a three-race series dedicated to giving back to the community. With registration fees at just $30, this is the best deal in the Triangle! However, keep in mind that the 5K is capped at 250 participants, so be sure to register early. Join us for a fantastic day of camaraderie, competition, and community support!

THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR THAT WE ARE ADDING A 5K ALONG WITH THE 10K RACE. IF YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR THE LE TOUR DE CARRBORO A THREE RACE SERIES BENEFITING CARRBORO AREA CHARITIES, YOU WILL NEED TO CHOOSE TO DO EITHER THE 5K OR THE 10K AS PART OF THE SERIES. THE CARRBORO 10K IS 6.2 MILES, THE CARRBORO 5K IS 3.1 MILES. BOTH RACES START AT 8 A.M. AT MCDOUGLE MIDDLE SCHOOL, WIND THROUGH CARRBORO NEIGHBORHOODS, AND FINISH ON THE MCDOUGLE TRACK. NOTE: THE 5K RACE IS CAPPED AT 250 PARTICIPANTS SO REGISTER EARLY!
