Whether you come to run, walk, roll, cheer, volunteer, or connect, CARRERA DE LAS ROSAS is an opportunity to be part of something largeran event that celebrates belonging, joy, and collective participation.

This rose is an intentional act of cultural and spiritual significance: participants are invited to lay their rose before Nuestra Se~nora de Guadalupe to honor their personal intentionwhether gratitude, remembrance, healing, advocacy, or a prayer for community strength. We have timed it so participant completion is before noon for the Rosary.

We believe that one of the defining features of the CARRERA DE LAS ROSAS is the virtual companion runner tradition, where every participant is encouraged to symbolically run alongside someone who could not attend or cannot physically make the journey. This may include a friend, elder, loved one, ancestor, or community member whose presence participants carry with them. This gesture reinforces interdependence, belonging, and the belief that our movements, whether big or small, are shared across our diverse communities.

Hosted by the _National Coalition for Latinxs with Disabilities_ (CNLD), CARRERA DE LAS ROSAS reflects a vision of community where health, accessibility, and inclusion go hand in hand. This event celebrates the strength of our communities while helping build awareness and support for a more equitable and accessible future for all.
