Get ready for a fantastic day of fitness and fun at the 46th Annual Cartersville 10K and 5K, taking place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Dellinger Park in Cartersville, Bartow. This exciting event invites runners and walkers of all levels to participate in either the USATF-certified 10K or the fast-paced 5K courses, both showcasing the beautiful scenery around the historic Etowah Indian Mounds. Registration is now open, with early bird pricing available until Labor Day! The 5K entry fee is just $25, while the 10K is $35, so don’t miss the chance to save some money. On race day, the 5K kicks off at 8:00 AM, followed closely by the 10K. With awards for overall winners, masters, and various age groups, there’s plenty of opportunity to celebrate your achievements. Plus, all proceeds go to benefit "Shoes4Kids," ensuring every child in the community has the right footwear

10K COURSE
USATF-Certified (_GA18083WC_) This 10K begins on the 400m. track in Dellinger Park before leaving the park and making a small loop by Cartersville Middle School. Then, it takes you on a large loop that travels along gorgeous country roads and alongside historic Etowah Indians Mounds before circumventing Dellinger Park and re-entering at the main entrance. Back to the 400m. track where you will finish like an Olympian as you finish your race on the track!!
5K COURSE
Similar to the 10K, the 5K starts however at the main entrance of Dellinger Park. It, however, just makes the large loop around the Etowah Indian Mounds but then re-enters Dellinger Park in the _back entrance _to the park and heads to the 400m. track inside the park. One loop around the track and just like that, this fast yet beautiful race is done! Enjoy the open country roads with surrounding farmland and a gentle rolling hill or two you'll hardly notice.
