High Tide Runs embraces a true spirit of inclusion. Our races are a tapestry of individuals, woven together by their passion for movement. Age, speed, and experience matter not – if youre eager to be part of the journey, youre already one of us.
Course Time Limit: 
Our designated course completion time has been set at 3 hours and 45 minutes. Commencing at 6:30 AM, the race clock concludes its timing at 10:15 AM.
For those who may have concerns about nearing the time limit, we have an option to address this. An early start time of 6:00 AM is available, offering participants a generous time limit of 4 hours and 15 minutes. This alternative is designed to provide an extended timeframe for a more comfortable and leisurely completion of the race.
About our Courses: 
We embrace an open-course philosophy, inviting a vibrant tapestry of fellow runners, walkers, and enthusiasts to share the days experience with you. Safety is our cornerstone, and to ensure it, all runners are kindly requested to remain on the designated pedestrian side of the beach path. The course elegantly follows the beach path without deviation, assuring you a seamless journey. We have 2 water stations strategically placed on the course with water and Gatorade. 
Course Specifics: 
The 5K, and 10K, will all run the same course. The turnaround is located at mile 1.55 marked with a runner turn sign, large orange flag, chalk, and small blue and orange flags. 
5k will run 1 out and back laps
10k will run two out-and-back laps

10 mile runners will run 2 x’s 5 mile laps
Half marathoners will run two 5-mile laps
And 1 final  5k lap to complete 13.1 miles
 
How are our races timed?  All events are gun-timed. This means we will start the clock when the horn sounds and record your time as you cross the finish line. For this reason, your bib needs to be worn on the front of your body at all times.

Capture the moment forever with our gift of free downloadable race photos – snapshots that freeze your journey in time, allowing you to relive the joy, the dedication, and the sheer exhilaration. Photos are typically posted within 24 hours of the event. 
Curious about your performance? Fear not. Race results will be meticulously tabulated and promptly posted on our website, a mere 10 hours after the race concludes. The thrill of anticipation is fleeting, as were committed to keeping you informed and satisfied.
Refunds and Deferrals, Simplified:
Sorry but there are NO REFUNDS but we do offer deferrals until 48 hours before the event and you can transfer your entry to another person for free up to 48 hours before the event. There is a $15 cash transfer fee on the day of the event and a matching ID is required to pick up your bib.

Getting To The Event:
Not all GPS directions are created equal and we have been told that Apple Maps doesnt always get you to the right spot so we suggest sticking with Waze.

Parking: 
We offer a plethora of convenient parking options. Along Ocean Ave, street parking is complimentary.
For the parking lot adjacent to our start line, please be aware that its managed by the city. To avoid any ticketing woes, its advisable to use one of their parking machines to settle the fee before the race. Please note that the machine wont accept payments prior to 8 am.
If you will be on course and unable to pay the meters when they go into effect at 8 am, the PASSPORT app comes to the rescue. Download this app to facilitate payment and ensure a seamless parking experience.
