Get ready to spread some holiday cheer at CCUCC's Jingle All The Way 5k event organized by Rev. Brian Russell! Taking place on December 24th, 2024 in Amherst, Lorain, participants can choose between a festive 5k run or a 1 mile Fun Walk. After the race, enjoy Christmas Carols, Hot Cocoa, and Christmas Cookies with Santa and Mrs. Claus. 100% of race fees will go to Blessing House, a local ministry helping children in need. Each participant will receive a Jingle Bell to wear during the event, creating a magical atmosphere in downtown Amherst. Join this Ohio Christmas Tradition and make a difference this holiday season!
Organiser's Description
Let's begin our Christmas Eve celebration again this year by jingling through downtown Amherst, spreading joy and cheer to our community. We will also have a 1 mile Fun Walk for all the festive jinglers who want a more casual morning! After the race, please join the Community for Christmas Carols, Hot Cocoa and Christmas Cookies!
And......wait for it....... I have heard that Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there too to greet kids of all ages before they head out for a busy night!

Your race packets will include a Jingle Bell that each runner and walker will wear during the event so that on Christmas Eve morning, the town of Amherst will be filled with the sound of Jingle Bells! Come join the fun of this new Ohio Christmas Tradition! PS: If you ran last year, bring your jingle bell from that race to wear with your new one to show everyone you are a JATW5K! veteran!

Strollers are fine! We will have to ask that our furry four legged friends stay home. The race will include streets where we will need to run single file. We love our pups, but leashes will become a tripping hazard for the run, so let's give them the morning off : ) -
