Get ready to kick off your Christmas celebrations at the CCUCC's Jingle All The Way 5k in Amherst, Lorain, on December 24, 2025! Whether you're an avid runner or prefer a more leisurely pace, there's something for everyone with a race distance of 5k and a fun 1-mile Walk option.
After the races, join in the merriment with Christmas carols, hot cocoa, and delicious Christmas cookies. And don't forget to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will be on hand to greet kids of all ages! Most importantly, all race fees will go directly to Blessing House, ensuring that many children in need have a brighter Christmas this year. Each runner and walker will receive a special Jingle Bell to wear during the event, filling Amherst with the delightful sound of jingling bells on Christmas Eve morning. Whether you're a returning participant or new to the tradition, come join the fun and make wonderful holiday memories!

Organiser's Description
Let's begin our Christmas Eve celebration again this year by jingling through downtown Amherst, spreading joy and cheer to our community. We will also have a 1 mile Fun Walk for all the festive jinglers who want a more casual morning! After the race, please join the Community for Christmas Carols, Hot Cocoa and Christmas Cookies!
And......wait for it....... I have heard that Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there too to greet kids of all ages before they head out for a busy night!

Strollers are fine! We will have to ask that our furry four legged friends stay home. The race will include streets where we will need to run single file. We love our pups, but leashes will become a tripping hazard for the run, so let's give them the morning off : ) -
