Rumor has it that Santa and Mrs. Claus will make a special appearance to greet children of all ages! Best of all, 100% of the race fees will benefit Blessing House, ensuring that many children in need will experience a brighter Christmas this year. Don’t forget to wear your Jingle Bell from last year’s race, or pick up a new one to add to your collection, and let’s fill the streets of Amherst with the joyful sound of jingling bells! Let's begin our Christmas Eve celebration again this year by jingling through Amherst, spreading joy and cheer to our community. We will also have a 1 mile Fun Walk for all the festive jinglers who want a more casual morning! After the race, please join the Community for Christmas Carols, Hot Cocoa and Christmas Cookies!
And......wait for it....... I have heard that Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there too to greet kids of all ages before they head out for a busy night!
Most importantly - 100% OF RACE FEES WILL GO TO DIRECTLY TO BLESSING HOUSE [https://www.blessinghouse.org] which will help make Christmas a little brighter for many children in need! Learn more about this awesome local ministry by clicking here: https://blessinghouse.org/
Your race packets will include a Jingle Bell that each runner and walker will wear during the event so that on Christmas Eve morning, the town of Amherst will be filled with the sound of Jingle Bells! Strollers are fine! We will have to ask that our furry four legged friends stay home. The race will include streets where we will need to run single file. We love our pups, but leashes will become a tripping hazard for the run, so let's give them the morning off : ) -
