After the race, join the community for Christmas carols, hot cocoa, and delicious Christmas cookies, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. And don’t miss the chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will be there to greet kids of all ages! Each participant will receive a special Jingle Bell to wear during the event, ensuring that the sound of jingling fills the air on Christmas Eve morning. Organiser's Description
Let's begin our Christmas Eve celebration again this year by jingling through Amherst, spreading joy and cheer to our community. We will also have a 1 mile Fun Walk for all the festive jinglers who want a more casual morning! After the race, please join the Community for Christmas Carols, Hot Cocoa and Christmas Cookies!
And......wait for it....... I have heard that Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there too to greet kids of all ages before they head out for a busy night!
Most importantly - 100% OF RACE FEES WILL GO TO DIRECTLY TO BLESSING HOUSE [https://www.blessinghouse.org] which will help make Christmas a little brighter for many children in need! Learn more about this awesome local ministry by clicking here: https://blessinghouse.org/
Your race packets will include a Jingle Bell that each runner and walker will wear during the event so that on Christmas Eve morning, the town of Amherst will be filled with the sound of Jingle Bells! OPENS 24 OCTStrollers are fine! We will have to ask that our furry four legged friends stay home. The race will include streets where we will need to run single file. We love our pups, but leashes will become a tripping hazard for the run, so let's give them the morning off : ) -
