Organiser's Description
America's 15-miler is a scenic but challenging course, starting at our majestic State Capitol, taking you through downtown, rolling through our beautiful hillside neighborhoods, and along Charleston's riverfront. We also offer a flat 5k run/walk and a three-person 15-mile relay on our 15-mile course with segments that are 3, 5, and 7 miles long.

Event has legs of approximately 3 miles, 5 miles and 7 miles. The 5 mile leg is in the hills and the 3 and 7 mile legs are mostly flat. Each participant must register and pay an entry fee. The 1st registrant must set up the team. -

OPENS 04 SEPThis is a free event sponsored by the City of Charleston Department of Parks and Recreation for children ages 4 to 12, with race lengths varying by age group. Ages 4 to 6 run about one-quarter mile; ages 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 run about a half mile. All races will be on Kanawha Boulevard between Court and Capitol Streets.
