*CHEP Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit, originated in 1990 and is headquartered in Perry Point, Maryland. CHEP Inc. empowers homeless Veterans by providing them with housing and by maximizing access to supportive services so they may create positive and sustainable change in their lives and in their communities.
The organization runs two supportive housing programs for homeless veterans in Maryland and South Carolina while also managing a permanent housing project in Washington DC.
CHEPs housing projects foster independence and stability, affording Veterans the opportunity to focus on skill building, finding employment, financial stability, mental health and wellness and substance use recovery with our compassionate team of program managers, case workers, and support staff.
Our goal is to restore hope and dignity to the veterans in our programs so they can live independently, maintain permanent housing and an improved quality of life.
Our continuing education programs, many geared toward healthcare providers who serve veterans, and our conference management services are profit making initiatives that allow us to strengthen our scope of support for the housing programs.
