Join us for the Cherokee National Holiday Veterans Run on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in the beautiful town of Tahlequah, Oklahoma! This exciting event kicks off at the Cherokee Nation War Memorial, where we come together to honor our veterans and celebrate community spirit. The race day schedule features a Fun Run beginning at 7:00 AM, followed by the 5K race at 7:30 AM. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups, making this a fantastic opportunity for runners of all levels to showcase their skills.
Whether you’re racing in person on a USATF-sanctioned and certified course or opting for the virtual 5K, you’ll have the chance to earn a race shirt while supplies last. RACE SCHEDULE:
6:30 A.M. 7:25 A.M. RACE DAY REGISTRATION & PACKET PICK-UP
7:00 A.M. FUN RUN BEGINS
7:30 A.M. 5K RACE BEGINS
MEDALS WILL BE AWARDED TO THE TOP 3 MALE AND FEMALE FINISHERS IN STANDARD AGE GROUPS FOR THE 5K.
