Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the Chile Harvest YOUTH Triathlon on Friday, August 1st, 2025, in beautiful Socorro, New Mexico! This exciting event is designed for kids ages 7 to 14, offering a perfect opportunity for young athletes to showcase their skills in a friendly and supportive environment. Participants will swim in a pool, bike on safe road paths, and run on lush grass, all on the scenic campus of New Mexico Tech.

The triathlon features age-appropriate distances to ensure every child can participate and challenge themselves. For ages 7-8, the race includes a 50-yard swim, a 1-mile bike ride, and a 0.5-mile run. Kids aged 9-10 will tackle a 100-yard swim, a 2-mile bike, and a 0.5-mile run. The 11-12 age group will swim 150 yards, bike 3 miles, and run 1 mile, while the 13-14-year-olds will swim 200 yards, bike 3 miles, and finish with a 1-mile run.
