Participants who register for the 5K will receive an exciting race packet, which includes a specially designed 2024 Community Color Run race shirt, a color powder packet, and promotional goodies from local businesses. The CHISHOLM TRAIL COMMUNITY COLOR RUN is back for our 5th year!! The event includes a 5K COLOR SPLASH RUN/WALK down the main roads of Park City and a free KIDS 100 METER FUN, as well as an end of race COLOR TOSS CELEBRATION, COMMUNITY LUNCH** , INFLATABLES AND YARD-GAMES and more, all in support of Chisholm Trails PE department and fine-arts program(s)!
Additionally, all participants who register for the 5k will receive a race-packet complete with a 2024 Community Color Run race shirt* designed by Heartland Expressions in Valley Center, individual color-powder packet, and promotional items from our race sponsors and local businesses!
Our event is open to Chisholm Trail students, staff, and families, as well as the Park City and USD 259 Communities and has been hailed as a great event to bring the community and school together! With volunteers from the Park City Police Department, Park City Pride, Sedgwick Co. Fire, the Heights Cheer squad and more, we have been able to host four well-organized and extremely successful events that simulate the large scale road-races hosted around Wichita.
Participants of the Community Color Run have enjoyed the event so much that it has become one of the most asked about events hosted by the school! Our participants have given high praise to our event, including the following reviews:

CLOSEDThe 5k Color Run/Walk follows Park City's main roads from Chisholm Trail Elementary to Hap-Mclean Park and back for an easy out and back route. Along the way participants can stop at water tables sponsored by Park City Pride and be doused in water-colors by the Heights Cheer Squad! While this is a great route for a family stroll, participants that are in-to-win-it can vie for one of our Color Run medals awarded to the top 3 men and women finishers! Registration for the 2023 5k color-splash run/walk is $20 for ages 18 & up. 5k Registration includes a race packet with the following items: 2023 Community Color Run T-shirt*, individual color-powder packet & business coupons and promotions. *Please note, individuals who register AFTER April 19th will not be eligible for a free Color Run shirt with their registration.
