On Saturday, July 25th, 2026, join us in East Baton Rouge for a fun-filled day that combines the holiday spirit with community support. This family-friendly event aims to raise funds for two incredible charity runners: Amy Hall, who will be running for the Surfgimp Foundation in the Rehoboth Beach Marathon, and Tina Travis, who is running for St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Participants can choose to run in person from Santa's workshop or virtually from their own locations. With race distances including a challenging 5.6-mile route and shorter options of 1 and 2 miles, there’s something for everyone! The first 100 runners to register will receive a special 14 oz speckled coffee mug, and all in-person participants will be treated to a wrapped Christmas present valued between $1 and $50. Plus, enjoy delicious Christmas cookies and festive music to keep the holiday spirit alive. Join us in making a difference while having a great time—let’s hit our fundraising goal of $2,400 and spread some joy this summer!

CHRISTMAS IN JULY 2026 BATON ROUGE, is a fun and family friendly event used to raise money for a charity runner.
Funds raised this year will support Amy Hall, who is running for the Surfgimp Foundation at the Rehoboth Beach Marathon in December and for Tina Travis, who is running for St. Jude in October.
Surfgimp Foundation's mission is to support, through financial grants, individuals with disabilities who require assistance to pursue an active lifestyle.
Sometimes a disabled individual needs assistance from other people to experience their greatest adventures. Surfgimps vision is to help facilitate these adventures by providing support for some of the extra expenses that can be incurred such as equipment, travel, lessons, entry fees, and more.
St. Jude Children's Hospital mission is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Founded on the vision that "no child should die in the dawn of life," St. Jude ensures no family receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food.
OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL IS: $2,400.00
You can run in person from Santas workshop or virtually from your neck of the woods. All donations are accepted!

Everyone who runs in person receives a gift WRAPPED CHRISTMAS PRESENT valued from $1 to $50.00. These gifts are donated or purchased for the event. Visit the finishers table after the run to claim your Christmas present.
Santas elves will have Christmas COOKIES after the run.
