As you cross the finish line, you'll be greeted with a race shirt, and the top three finishers in each age group will receive medals to commemorate their achievements. Not only will you have the chance to push your limits, but you'll also be contributing to a meaningful fundraiser aimed at reducing the community's poverty rate. With multiple ways to get involved, from signing up as a participant to becoming a phantom runner or donor, there’s a role for everyone in this uplifting event. Organiser's Description
This is a 5K trail run around scenic Clinton Nature Preserve in Villa Rica, GA. Medals will be given to the top 3 in each age group (10 year increments). All finishers will get a race-shirt along with snacks and drinks. Runners and walkers are both welcome.
Proceeds will go to CIRCLES DOUGLAS COUNTY [https://fpcdouglasville.org/circles] which is one of the most effective programs to support moving people out of poverty. Circles also brings together community resources and helps formulate a plan to help reduce a community's poverty rate by at least 10%.
This is a fundraiser and there are multiple ways to donate:
* PARTICIPANT - Just signing up is a contribution. Start with the Sign Up button.
* PARTICIPANT + DONATION - In the Sign Up process, you will see a Donate button where you can give above and beyond the registration fee.
* PHANTOM RUNNER - Perfect if you just want to stay in bed or cheer from the sidelines and still get a tshirt. Select Phantom Runner during sign in
* DONOR - For those that want to give , but dont need yet another tshirt. Start with the Donate button.
* SPONSOR - For anyone giving $100 or more, your name or company will be on the tshirts. The highest tier of donations includes a one year ad on the Circles website and other benefits. If you are interested, please email [email protected] (subject: Circles DC 5K Sponsorship) for more information.
