Get ready for an exhilarating day of competition at the 5th Annual City of Edinburg Triathlon, taking place on Sunday, August 10th, 2025, in beautiful Edinburg, Hidalgo! This exciting event invites participants of all ages to challenge themselves across various race distances, ensuring there's something for everyone. Athletes aged 12 and under will swim 100 meters, bike 4.5 miles, and run 1 mile, while those in the Recreational 13 and Up Division will tackle the same swim and bike distances, finishing with a 1-mile run. For the more competitive athletes, the Competitive Division features a 200-meter swim, a 9-mile bike course, and a 2-mile run.

The triathlon will kick off bright and early at 7:30 a.m. at Edinburg Parks & Recreation, located at 315 Mark S. Peña Dr. Be sure to pick up your race packet on Friday, August 8th, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., or on race day from 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. Helmets are mandatory, and only traditional swim gear is permitted
