Get ready for an exhilarating day at the 6th Annual City of Edinburg Triathlon, taking place on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in the vibrant city of Edinburg, Hidalgo! This action-packed event promises excitement for all ages and skill levels, featuring three thrilling race distances. The competitive division will challenge participants with a 200-meter swim, a 9-mile bike ride, and a 2-mile run. For those in the recreational division (ages 13 and up), the course includes a 100-meter swim, a 4.5-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run, while the youngest athletes (12 and under) will compete in a shorter version of the same distances.
Join fellow triathletes at Edinburg Parks & Rec, located at 315 Mark S Peña Dr, starting at 7:30 a.m. on race day. Be sure to register early, as spots are limited to 500 participants, and the first 300 registrants will receive a special finisher medal and T-shirt!
