Get ready for an exhilarating day at the 6th Annual City of Edinburg Triathlon on Sunday, August 16th, 2026! Taking place at Edinburg Parks & Rec, located at 315 Mark S. Peña Dr., this exciting event promises a fantastic experience for athletes of all levels. The triathlon features a variety of race distances to accommodate participants: the 12 Under Division will tackle a 100-meter swim, 4.5-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run; while the Recreational 13 and Up Division will follow the same distances. For those ready to take on a challenge, the Competitive Division includes a 200-meter swim, 9-mile bike ride, and a 2-mile run.
Participants can look forward to a supportive atmosphere, with all finishers receiving a medal and awards for top competitors in the Competitive Division. With registration capped at 320 participants, be sure to secure your spot early to guarantee your shirt size! Helmets are mandatory for safety, and no flotation or snorkeling devices are allowed.
