Join us on Monday, September 7, 2026, in Sheldon, O'Brien for the inaugural CKS Move for a Mission event, featuring a 5K and a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk! This uplifting community event aims to support Cohen Francis, a courageous young boy battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. With 100% of proceeds going directly to the Francis family, your participation will help ease their financial burden during this challenging time.
The day kicks off bright and early with packet pickup and registration from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM, followed by a warm welcome and race announcements. The 5K starts at 8:00 AM, with the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk launching shortly after at 8:15 AM. Runners and walkers of all ages are encouraged to join, and awards will be presented at 9:00 AM for top finishers in both races. With event T-shirts, refreshments, and a heartwarming atmosphere, this is more than just a race—it's a chance to come together as a community to support a worthy cause. Together, we can show the Francis family that they are not alone in this journey!

At CKS, we believe fitness is about so much more than a workout. It's about showing up for one another, supporting our community, and making a difference when it matters the most.
This year, we are honored to kick off our very first CKS Move for a Mission event to support Cohen Francis, a sweet little boy who has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Cohen will be a first grader at East Elementary in Sheldon this fall, and during this challenging time, we want to help ease the burden on his family. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Francis family to help with medical expenses and any other needs they may have during Cohen's treatment.
Whether you run, walk, or cheer others on, every step helps make a difference. Thank you for helping us show the Francis family that they are not walking this journey alone.
