Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with fun and fitness at the 2nd annual Cody Run the Runway & Trails - Once in a Blue Moon event, taking place on Friday, October 18th, 2024, in beautiful Cody, Wyoming. This unique running experience features multiple race distances – choose from a 1 Mile, 3 Mile, or 5 Mile course that combines the thrill of running on both trails and tarmacs under the enchanting glow of a Blue Moon.
Participants are encouraged to bring a light or headlamp to navigate the scenic routes as they enjoy a vibrant atmosphere complete with live music and delicious food trucks at the after-party. Early registrants can secure their spot for just $35, while latecomers may pay $45, with all proceeds supporting the development of commercial air service in the Big Horn Basin. Join us for an evening of community spirit, physical challenge, and celebration in Cody Park!

Ready to take your running game to new heights? Join us in Cody, WY, for Cody-Yellowstone Air Improvement Resources (CYAIR) for the 2nd annual Once In A Blue Moon Fun Run, including 1 Mile, 3 Mile, and 5 Mile options. And this year, we're giving you a more traily course! Come prepared to run a little road, and run a little trail. Experience the thrill of walking, jogging, and or running at the airport on trails and tarmacs at night under the Blue Moon. (Please bring a light or headlamp, as the days will be shorter!) When you finish, enjoy live music and food trucks. All Proceeds benefit the development of commercial air service in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming.

CLOSEDWant a little more than 1 Mile, and less than 5? This is the perfect distance for you! This out-and-back course will have one aid station at the 1.5 Mile turnaround. You'll be running on a little road, and a lotta trail! So get those running shoes warmed up and your headlamp charged - it may get a little dark out there! -

CLOSEDThe 5 Mile course is new and it is going to be a trail adventure of your dreams! This loop course takes you around the entire permimeter of the runway on a mixture of mostly grass, soft dirt trail, and a little pavement. There will be two aid stations - one at 1.5 Miles, and the second at 2.5 Miles.
