The Community Connection 5K is more than a race its a chance for our city to come together for a worthy cause. Join us on August 1st, 2026, at Lions Club Park in Killeen for a familyfriendly event focused on health, unity, and giving back.
This years race proudly benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Central Texas, supporting programs that empower local youth with mentorship, leadership development, and opportunities that matter. The HWDS Foundation is committed to strengthening mental and physical wellbeing through movement, mentorship, and community support. Proceeds from this event fuel our initiatives and directly support the Boys & Girls Club of Central Texas.
