Get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving with a fun-filled morning at the ConfluxCity Brewing Company's Turkey Trot 5K and Family Fun Run on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in beautiful Portland, Ionia! Kick off your holiday with a spirited 5K run along Portland's scenic river trail, starting at 9 AM. Whether you choose to run, walk, bike, rollerblade, or scooter, this event is perfect for everyone—so bring along your little ones in strollers and well-behaved dogs for a delightful day outdoors.
Participants can enjoy a festive atmosphere with Thanksgiving and turkey-themed attire encouraged. The registration fee is just $15 for adults and $12 for youth, and if you sign up three or more participants, you’ll receive a $1 discount for each. Your entry fee includes a commemorative shirt featuring this year's logo, plus snacks and water at the finish line. After the trot, join fellow participants in the beer garden until 11 AM for some well-deserved camaraderie! Proceeds from this spirited event will benefit local schools, so come out to support Portland Public Schools and St. Patrick's Catholic Schools while enjoying a joyful Thanksgiving tradition. Organiser's Description
Join us on Thanksgiving morning at 9am to run, walk, bike, rollerblade, scooter or whatever a 5K through Portland's river trail. Bring your littles in the strollers and well behaved dogs. Then, join us for camaraderie in the beer garden following the run until 11am. Thanksgiving and/or turkey attire is recommended.
Participation fee is $15 for adults and $12 for youth. If you sign up three or more people, you'll get a $1 discount on each participant. Fee includes a shirt with this year's logo, snacks and water at the finish. The proceeds from this event will be split evenly and go towards Portland Public Schools and St. Patrick's Catholic Schools right here in Portland.
