CONNECT COMMUNITY VILLAGE / BLUEGRASS VETERANS RANCH IS A 20-ACRE, 25-HOME TINY HOUSE COMMUNITY CREATED TO SUPPORT VETERANS TRANSITIONING FROM MILITARY TO CIVILIAN LIFE. THIS UNIQUE COMMUNITY PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOCATIONAL JOB TRAINING, ANIMAL THERAPY, A WORKING RANCH ENVIRONMENT, AND PEER-SUPPORTED VETERAN PROGRAMS AND RESOURCES. OUR MISSION IS TO EQUIP VETERANS WITH ESSENTIAL LIFE SKILLS THAT LEAD TO A PURPOSEFUL, FULFILLING, AND PRODUCTIVE LIFE BEYOND THEIR SERVICE.
WE ARE HONORED TO BE PART OF THE 2025 LAKE CUMBERLAND WALK/RUN SERIES 5K RACEA SPECIAL EVENT DEDICATED TO HONORING THE LOYALTY AND SERVICE OF OUR VETERANS, BOTH NEAR AND FAR.

This is a Competitive Walk. By choosing the Walk, you are signing up in the Walk Division. You are eligible for Top 3 Overall Male & Female Competitive Walking Awards. Walking is defined as having one foot on the ground AT ALL TIMES. You may NOT spring, run, jog, and/or trot any portion of the course. To do so, even for one step, even if this is your first race, even if he or she "is only a kid" would be considered cheating and would be subject to disqualification. Please be fair to other Walkers. -
