Get ready to lace up your running shoes and join the excitement at the 32nd Annual Corrib Pub Classic 5K on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in West Roxbury, Suffolk! This beloved community event has become a hallmark of the Greater Boston area, attracting enthusiastic participants year after year. Known for its well-organized race experience and vibrant atmosphere, the Corrib Classic promises a fun-filled day for runners and supporters alike.
While the race will maintain its familiar route, this year’s celebrations will take place in a new location due to construction at Billings Field. The post-race festivities, including a complimentary barbecue, beer tent, and entertainment, will be hosted in the YMCA parking lot, creating an exciting environment for families, neighbors, and local businesses to come together. Please note, however, that due to the temporary setup, there will be no kids' race or additional children's activities this year, but they are anticipated to return in 2027. Registration and bib pickup will occur on race day from 10 AM to noon, with pre-race pickup available on June 6th from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Corrib. The Corrib Charitable Trust is proud to host the 32nd Annual Corrib Classic Road Race on June 7, 2026.
The Corrib Classic has grown into one of the premier community fun runs in the Greater Boston area, known for its strong participation and well-organized race experience. Beyond the course, the post-race celebration has evolved into an unofficial West Roxbury Day, bringing together families, neighbors, and local businesses for a day of community spirit.
This year, with Billings Field under construction, all post-race festivities including the complimentary barbecue, beer tent, and entertainment will be held in the YMCA parking lot.
To help us make the most of the space, we kindly ask that guests leave coolers at home this year.
Because of the temporary location and limited space, we wont be able to host the kids race or additional childrens activities this year but were looking forward to bringing them back in 2027.
On June 7th, registration and bib pickup will take place in the Eye Care Specialists lot beside the Corrib (2020 Centre St) from 10am to noon on race day. Pre-race bib pickup will take place Saturday, June 6th at the Corrib from 4pm to 7pm.
Participants can expect the same safe, fun, and family-friendly experience that has defined the Corrib Classic for over three decades just with a new place to celebrate this year.
Over the past 30+ years, we are proud to have raised and donated more than $1.5 million to a wide range of local initiatives, including youth sports programs, cultural activities, and community-based organizations throughout the Parkway area.
