Join us for the Covington Nursery School 5k/10k on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 in Covington, Fountain. This family-friendly event supports a great cause, with all proceeds going to Covington Nursery School. The chip-timed race will take place on the picturesque Covington Circle Trail, starting and ending at Covington City Park. Costumes are encouraged, making it a fun and festive atmosphere for all ages. Pre-register before October 9th to guarantee a shirt and be sure to arrive at the park 30 minutes before the 9 AM ET start time. Awards will be given to first place finishers in each age division, as well as overall winners in male and female categories for both the 5k and 10k races. Strollers are welcome, but please leave pets at home. Bib and t-shirt pickup is available the Thursday before the race, and packets include race maps, bibs, sponsorship materials, t-shirts, and freebies. Come out and support Covington Nursery School while enjoying a scenic run on the trail!

All proceeds go to Covington Nursery School. This fundraiser will take place on the beautiful Covington Circle Trail. The course is an out and back starting and ending in the Covington City Park by the soccer field. The event is a fun, yet competitive, chip timed race. It is family friendly encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle for all ages. Costumes are encouraged. Start time: 9 AM ET. Please arrive at the Covington City Park 30 minutes before start of the race. Rain or Shine. This race is non-refundable because it is a fundraiser. Pre-Register before Oct. 9th to guarantee a shirt. Races are chip timed- First place medals will be awarded in each age division listed above for both races including an overall race winner in male and female divisions. 5K and 10K begin by the soccer pavilion on the Covington Circle Trail. The course loops around the soccer field and heads east near the Trojan Complex, the 5K turnaround is the second parking lot on Trojan Complex Road. (water station and sign will be there) and concludes at the starting line. The 10K continues out past the 5K turnaround to the Pearl Street Trailhead and turns around (water station and sign) and concludes at the starting line. Strollers are welcome. Service pets only. Bib/t-shirt pickup is Thursday before race from 5-7pm at the Covington Nursery School (1135 Liberty, Covington). You may designate someone to pick up your bib, shirt and packets. Packets includes race map, bib, sponsorship materials, t-shirts and freebies. You may pick up your packet race morning beginning 6:00 am to 7:00 am at the soccer pavilion at the Covington Park.
