Crossover for Change Fun Run

The mission of Crossover for Change is to empower girls and young women in developing countries through athletics. We believe that athletics are the perfect vehicle to encourage future generations to create a better future for themselves by fostering confidence, empowerment, and leadership. In 2020, we traveled to Uganda and hosted basketball camps at Maryhill School and Sacred Heart School, impacting over 6,000 students. We have also built 3 basketball courts, with the plan of making several more. Currently, we are working on fundraising to provide educational materials to the students in Uganda. With your help, we can continue bringing the power of sports to young women in Uganda, along with computer labs and other educational materials. 
We are hosting a virtual 5k Fun Run that is set to take place from August 4th to August 11th. On August 10th, we will be hosting an in-person race for participants to attend.
