Organiser's Description
The City of Hamlet is partnering with Richmond Community College and the 2024 Encounter Quest to provide a FREE RUN/WALK event. The run/walk will be held on the campus of RCC and will not be a timed event. It will be a fun run/walk through nature with some Alien and Bigfoot sightings along the route for photo ops. THE RACE WILL BE ONE MILE UP TO A 5K (3.1 MILES). The course will be marked for whichever option you choose. Parking will be on campus at the Lee Building. Bathrooms will be available at the Cole Auditorium. Food trucks will be set up in the parking area in front of the Cole Auditorium and Encounter Quest merchandise will be available for purchase inside the Cole Auditorium. PARTICIPANTS THAT SIGN UP VIA RUNSIGNUP WILL BE ENTERED INTO A DRAWING FOR ONE (1) FREE ENTRY TICKET AND T-SHIRT THROUGH ENCOUNTER QUEST. Dress in cryptid costume or not, but come to have fun!
