Organiser's Description
Celebrate July 4th with the Culpeper Freedom 5k at the Culpeper Baptist Church. This race is open to everyone, including runners and fitness walkers. Team or group registration is available as well for your coworkers, family members, classmates, and anyone else who would enjoy this event with you.
Proceeds from the Freedom 5k will go to benefit Girls on the Run and Culpepers 4th of July Firework display.
$30 registration if registered by June 15, Group registrations (5 or more) are $25 and day of registration is $35.
Course Description: The race will begin at the Culpeper Baptist Church rear parking lot and continues down West Street, turning onto West Mason Street, then Blue Ridge Avenue for a full loop around the entire Yowell Meadow Park until heading back onto Blue Ridge Avenue, turning on West Piedmont Street to North West Street, then crossing the finish line at the Culpeper Baptist Church rear parking lot. Ninety minutes of completion time is allowed for this race so all participants must cross the finish line by 10:00 am.
