Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Cupid Made Me Do It 2 Mile Urban Challenge on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, in the charming town of Willimantic, Southeastern Connecticut! This exciting road race will take you through the heart of downtown, crossing three picturesque bridges along the way. Participants can register for just $25, with a special rate of $10 for kids aged 12 and under. Don’t forget, if you register by midnight on February 2nd, you’ll secure a guaranteed t-shirt—just make sure to be present at the event to receive it!
The fun begins with race day registration starting at 8:30 AM at the First Baptist Church, followed by the race kick-off at 10:00 AM. Join with friends and family to create teams and compete for exciting awards in categories like Largest Team, Most Enthusiastic Team, and Most Spirited Team—costumes are highly encouraged! Individual awards will also be given to the top male, female, and non-binary finishers, along with the top three in various age groups. Plus, winners will be treated to a gourmet cupcake from A Cupcake for Later! A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Wind

This 2 mile road race starts and ends on Riverside Dr in Willimantic and runs through downtown, crossing three bridges.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS: will be given to the overall Male, Female, and Non-Binary finishers plus top three in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
The overall Male, Female, and Non-Binary winners as well as each age group winner will receive a gourmet cupcake donated by A CUPCAKE FOR LATER.
