The Wasatch Trails Collective (WTC) and Latino Outdoors Salt Lake City (LOSLC) invite you to our inaugural D'ia de los Muertos 5K Run and Walk on November 2nd, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., at the Tracy Aviarys Nature Center at Pia Okwai. This vibrant event celebrates culture and community while raising crucial funds for Comunidades Unidas (CU). CU is a local non-profit organization that provides direct social services and community organizing opportunities to the Latinx and immigrant communities of Utah, allowing them to prosper and use their power in favor of their collective interests. Don't miss the chance for same-day bib pick-up and registration (if available), ensuring you're all set for the race. This is also a perfect opportunity to mingle with fellow runners, make new friends, and get into the spirit of the event. Moreover, take advantage of this time to explore various community resources, learn more about local initiatives, and discover how you can get involved. Let's come together to celebrate health, community, and running! We encourage those who can to come dressed for the occasion with painted faces, warm clothes, gloves, and headlamps. No dogs allowed.
