Each participant will be chip-timed, with awards for top finishers in various age groups, and custom finisher medals for the first 800 registered runners and walkers. EVENT OVERVIEW
This festive, Easter-themed beach run was established in 1967 by the City of Daytona Beach. The race was first held on Easter Sunday to provide an activity for visiting college students and is now the oldest consecutive footrace in the State of Florida.
Participants will enjoy a scenic run on the Worlds Most Famous Beach while traveling out and back for the 4-mile race, 2-mile fun run or health walk. Kids are also welcome to participate in the 1/4-mile race, 100 and 50-yard dash.

Awards not picked up race day may be picked up weekdays at the CODB Parks & Recreation Administrative office for 30 days after the race. Awards will be mailed if requested with a $10 check to CODB Attention Katie Preswood Parks & Recreation - P.O. Box 2451 Daytona Beach, FL 32115.
IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION
Parking is available in the Ocean Walk parking lot for a fee. The cost to park in the garage is $5 per hour or $15 for the day.
