Join us for the Deacon Chuck Dietsch Memorial 5K Run & Walk for Haiti on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in the beautiful Naugatuck Valley of Southbury! Organized by Seeds of Hope for Haiti, this inspiring event invites participants to run or walk 3.1 miles with a purpose, raising crucial funds to support the local community in Grand Boulage, Haiti. Your participation will directly contribute to providing essential resources such as teacher salaries, school textbooks, lunches, and clothing for children, as well as supporting the local medical clinic.
Everyone is welcome, and we even have a Kids Fun Run for those aged 12 and under! Plus, the first 5K runners and walkers registered by Sunday, April 13th, will receive a FREE tech t-shirt. With awards for the overall Male & Female 5K finishers and the top three runners in each division, this is an event you won’t want to miss. Run and walk with purpose! Come join us to help support our brothers and sisters in Haiti - the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Funds raised from this event are used to help pay for teacher salaries, purchase school textbooks, lunches and clothing for children, support the local medical clinic, and more for the mountain community of Grand Boulage, Haiti.
