Join us for the Deacon Chuck Dietsch Memorial 5K Run & Walk for Haiti on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in beautiful Southbury, Naugatuck Valley! Organized by Seeds of Hope for Haiti, this uplifting event aims to support our brothers and sisters in Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. By participating, you’ll help raise funds for essential needs such as teacher salaries, school supplies, and medical support for the mountain community of Grand Boulage.
Whether you choose to run or walk the 3.1-mile course, you’ll be making a difference while enjoying a fun and vibrant atmosphere. We also invite kids aged 12 and under to join our FREE Kids Fun Run, where every participant will receive a plastic finisher medal! Don’t miss out on your chance to get a FREE tech t-shirt by registering for the 5K by April 5. With awards for overall winners and top finishers in various age divisions, there’s something for everyone! Run and walk with purpose! Come join us to help support our brothers and sisters in Haiti - the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Funds raised from this event are used to help pay for teacher salaries, purchase school textbooks, lunches and clothing for children, support the local medical clinic, and more for the mountain community of Grand Boulage, Haiti.
Participants may register to run or walk 3.1 miles, and our Kids Fun Run is available for those 12 and under as well! FREE TECH T-SHIRTS GUARANTEED TO 5K RUNNERS & WALKERS REGISTERED BY SUNDAY APRIL 5TH. Overall male and female 5K winners will receive first place medals. The top 3 finishers in each male and female age division will also receive division medals. Our age divisions are: Under 10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. All Kids Fun Run participants will receive a plastic participation medal. Please spread the word to family and friends everywhere!
