Get ready to run and walk with purpose at the Deacon Chuck Dietsch Memorial 5K Run & Walk for Haiti, organized by Seeds of Hope for Haiti! Join us on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in beautiful Southbury, located in the scenic Naugatuck Valley. This uplifting event not only encourages healthy living but also supports our brothers and sisters in Haiti, where funds raised go directly to vital resources like teacher salaries, school supplies, and local medical assistance for the mountain community of Grand Boulage.

Participants can choose to run or walk the 3.1-mile course, and we have a special Kids Fun Run for those 12 and under, ensuring everyone can get involved! Don’t miss out on the chance to receive a FREE tech t-shirt if you register by Sunday, April 13th. Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers as well as the top three runners in each division. Remember, rain or shine, this event will go on, so prepare for a little weather and bring your best spirit! Organiser's Description

Run and walk with purpose! Come join us to help support our brothers and sisters in Haiti - the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Funds raised from this event are used to help pay for teacher salaries, purchase school textbooks, lunches and clothing for children, support the local medical clinic, and more for the mountain community of Grand Boulage, Haiti.

Participants may register to run or walk 3.1 miles, and our Kids Fun Run is available for those 12 and under as well! FREE TECH T-SHIRTS GUARANTEED TO 5K RUNNERS & WALKERS REGISTERED BY SUNDAY APRIL 13TH. Awards for overall Male & Female 5K finisher & top 3 runners in each division. Please spread the word to family and friends everywhere!

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

* RAIN OR SHINE! The race is happening no matter the weather. It looks like a bit of rain is in the forecast, so bring a light jacket or rain poncho and your best spirit a few sprinkles wont stop this great event!
